Custom Faceted Black Onyx Spider Medallion by Hawk – SOLD

This is a one of a kind faceted Black Widow Spider cut into black onyx.

The material is actually dyed Brazilian Agate, so it is very hard and takes a mirror polish.

This cut was adapted from earlier faceting work done by cutters that are long dead. Hawk took the idea and adapted it to a flat medallion faceted cut.

The medallion measures 36 mm from flat to flat and is 6 mm at the thickest point.

The gem weighs 43.7 cts and it is currently a one-of-a-kind gemstone.

It would make a stunning Goth setting. Very flashy black!
