This is a natural untreated deep blue Australian Sapphire cut by Hawk.

The faceting design features a simple parallelogram step cut crown with a brilliant cut pavilion to bring out some flash.

This gem is completely natural and untreated. It is a very deep blue with blue/green flash in bright light. Surface polish is very good and the cut is very good. The table is a bit large to allow more light to enter.

Table down it exhibits some color banding and greenish color near the shallow edges.
