This is a natural untreated Fancy Purple Sapphire cut by Hawk.

The faceting design is a brilliant oval.

This gem is completely natural and untreated. It is a deep purple with some very nice sparkle. Surface polish is very good and the cut is very good. There is a small white inclusion in one of the main facets on one end of the gem. Barely visible to the naked eye. You have to know what to look for in order to notice it.
