Replacement Gems & Custom Cutting
When Hawk was involved in the antiques trade he worked with antique jewelry dealers doing repairs on old settings, replacing and repairing gems in gold and silver jewelry. He bought this vintage filigree ring from one of his dealers and subsequently cut this custom designed lab sapphire to fit the ring.

In this instance we purchased this beautiful setting without a gem on Etsy. Hawk then cut a #5 lab Ruby to fit the setting and then set the stone and gave it to his mother for her 88th birthday. This is our minimum cutting fee for any size gemstone out of any material.
Gem material costs may be extra and will be discussed with you before any work is begun.
Gem Cutting Fees
$80 per ct.
for Gems over 2cts. in any material
Custom Gem Design on our CAD software may be additional.
Providing Your Own Rough Gem Material
If you have an old gem that needs repair, or have your own gem rough, we can evaluate it and possibly use it to cut a gem for you. We will need to have you send the material to us where we will evaluate it and tell you what is possible with your material.
We can estimate a shape and final size for your gem and allow you to choose a cut pattern for the finished stone.
