On The Dop

Hawk completed cutting this 8X6 mm lab ruby on 4/28/24 weighing in at 2.85cts. The animation to the left is a digital representation of the faceting design in the color and material that he is cutting. With Hawk’s CAD software, he is able to create an animated or static image of a gemstone before he even cuts it. This gives him the ability to test his cutting designs and create the best stone out of any material he is cutting. He can do the same for your next gemstone too! New At Phoenix Rising Gems

Last week Phoenix Rising Gems received two lots of natural Turquoise cabbing rough. The lot on the left is #8 Turquoise from Nevada. This mine is currently closed and no additional material is being mined. The next batch of Turquoise is Alacran Turquois from a mine in Sonora Mexico.
Next to that is a lab padparascha sapphire rough boule. It’s a lovely peachy, pinky orange color. Hawk can’t wait to cut a sample stone out of it! And finally the photo on the right is some rough Tanzanite colored CZ that Hawk will be cutting in the near future. The color is stunning!
