This week Hawk is working on a commission Verneuil #6 Ruby project. It will be a 7 X 5mm brilliant oval at about 1ct. This is going into a solitaire engagement ring.

Just completed precision faceting a 3.35ct Czochralski Pulled Lab Sapphire in Royal Blue. The cut is called Omni Oval 1.2 and has terrific brilliance in good lighting. The gem is 10 X 8 X 5.8mm deep. Very pretty gem!

This week Hawk completed a commission for a Dichroic Lab Moissanite with material supplied by the client. The finished gem measured 14.2 mm wide X 11mm long and 8.8mm deep at 6.8cts. This is stunning material in person… with prismatic color flashes, a truly beautiful stone. The cut is called Zankoku and was designed by Arya Akhavan.

This week Hawk has finished a commission ruby that measured 12.8 X 8.5 X 5.4 mm and finished out at 5.55cts.
Here are some of the latest additions to our inventory. All of these gems were precision faceted by Hawk. These gems are all currently in stock and available for purchase.

Our first gem is a stunning orange lab padparascha sapphire in the #55SP color at 7.1cts.
Our latest addition is a Champagne colored Moissanite Asscher Cut at 9.5mm and 4.55cts.
Our third gem is a Blue Lab Quartz @5.35cts.
Fourth is a Czochralski Pulled Lab Sapphire in a Radiant cut @ 6.8cts.
New Material 10/24/2024
Our latest materials to arrive are #6 Dark Red Verneuil Ruby. We also received some lab grown Chrysoberyl Alexandrite rough that Hawk is looking forward to cutting.
Next to that is a Verneuil Paraiba colored sapphire rough boule. Hawk can’t wait to cut a sample stone out of it! And finally the photo on the right is a laser rod Alexandrite. Nice color! It goes from a nice orangy red to a cool blue in artificial light. In the sunlight it goes from an orangy red to a straw yellow. Check back in a couple of weeks for a cut gem out of this material!
New Rough Material Just in the week of 8/26/2024
New materials we just received this week.
1. Czochralski Pulled Royal Blue Sapphire Rough. We have a couple of choice pieces of this outstanding material. Hawk has completed a 6.8 ct Radiant Rectangle from this material that you can see on the home page under the Newest Inventory Items. Click on the photo to go to the detail page on this beautiful gemstone.
2. Czochralski Pulled Blood Red Ruby Rough. This is a 30ct chunk that has been divided and is being cut for two commission gems. See the Recently Completed Commission for the first stone that is in process. And see On The Dop for the second half of this piece of rough being currently cut.
3. Czochralski Pulled Canary Yellow Sapphire Rough. A 14ct chunk that will be crazy bright when cut.
4. Electric Blue Cobalt Doped Hydrothermal Quartz from a lab in Russia that is no longer producing this material.
